Home Remodeling in The Acreage, Florida
The lot is big enough. The house can be too
Additions, whole-house work and county permitting, run by one contractor with one schedule.
Home Remodeling in The Acreage
Whole-house work in The Acreage almost always includes an addition, because the setbacks are generous and the lot has room the house never used. A primary suite off the back, a second living space, a garage extended into a workshop, sometimes a guest wing for family who came for a week and stayed. All of it needs engineering, a survey and a county permit.
What we usually find in The Acreage
The rest of the list comes from the age and the servicing. Houses on the grid here run from the late eighties to the mid two thousands, so panels are often adequate but tight, and a generator or an added wing pushes them over. Septic capacity matters as soon as a bathroom is added, and that runs through its own health department review. Propane sits on site because there are no gas mains.

Built for the houses The Acreage actually has
We survey all of it first, put a fixed scope and a fixed price in writing, and then run the trades in sequence: structure, mechanical, finishes, each inspected by Palm Beach County before the next one closes it up. Kitchens, baths, flooring, drywall, paint, roofing, electrical and plumbing are our own crews. One project manager holds the schedule from the first walkthrough to the last punch item.
Our kitchen used to feel tight and outdated, but Titanium completely transformed it. They recommended removing a wall to create a more open layout, and the difference is incredible.

What a home remodeling job includes
Every home remodeling job we take in The Acreage runs the same way. A whole-house job runs on sequence, so the same order of work applies on every project we take.
Scope and survey
We walk the house, note what is structural and what is not, and put a fixed scope and a fixed price in writing before demolition day.
Structure and permits
Load-bearing changes get engineered and drawn. Permits and inspections are ours to pull and schedule, including the structural and mechanical sign-offs.
Mechanical, electrical, plumbing
Panels, circuits, supply and waste lines all get looked at while the walls are open. Undersized service and aluminium wiring get flagged before they become a surprise.
Kitchens and bathrooms
Both run through the same crews that do them as standalone jobs, with cabinetry from our own shop and counters templated on site.
Flooring, drywall and paint
Flooring runs continuous where the layout allows, ceilings get flattened, and interior and exterior painting are carried by our own painters.
Roof, windows and exterior
Impact windows, roofing and stucco repairs get rolled into the same contract, which keeps the wind-mitigation paperwork in one place.

Questions people in The Acreage ask us
We want to add a primary suite on the back. Where does that start?
With the survey and the septic. On a lot in The Acreage the setbacks are usually generous, so the constraint is more often the drainfield and the service capacity than the land. We check both before drawing anything.
Does adding a bathroom mean touching the septic system?
It can, and it is the first thing we check. Adding bedrooms or bathrooms in The Acreage triggers a review of septic capacity through the health department, and where the system needs upgrading we price it as its own line long before it could become a surprise.
Can you build a workshop or extend the garage?
Yes, and we do a lot of it here. Detached and attached workshop space in The Acreage gets engineered, permitted through the county and built to match the house, including power, lighting and the slab.
Our panel is full and we want a generator. Is that your work too?
It is. Service upgrades, transfer switches and generator installations on The Acreage houses get permitted and inspected like any other electrical work, and we sequence them with the rest of the project so the house is only interrupted once.
How long does an addition take from first visit to finish?
Usually four to seven months, with drawings, engineering and county review taking the first part of it. For a project in The Acreage we give you the whole calendar in writing, including the review time, so the wait is visible before you commit.
