Houses out here sit on lots of an acre and a bit, on the grid of roads the Indian Trail Improvement District maintains between Orange Boulevard, Coconut Boulevard and Seminole Pratt Whitney. Land is the one thing nobody is short of. What people are short of is kitchen, because a lot of these houses were built to a modest plan on a generous lot, and the room never grew to match the property.

Two things here are different from anywhere incorporated. Permits go through Palm Beach County itself, with no village hall in between, and we handle the submittal and the inspections. The water comes from a well, which is hard enough to mark up fixtures and shorten the life of a dishwasher, so filtration gets designed in at the same time as the plumbing. Cabinetry is built in our own shop and the counters are templated digitally once the boxes are set.
Our kitchen used to feel tight and outdated, but Titanium completely transformed it. They recommended removing a wall to create a more open layout, and the difference is incredible.

Design and drawings
We measure the room, draw it to scale and show you the layout before a single item is ordered. Appliance clearances, walkways and where the light lands all get settled on paper.
Demolition and prep
Cabinets, counters, flooring and soffits come out, the site gets protected and dust barriers go up. Anything hiding behind the wall gets photographed and shown to you the same day.
Cabinetry built in house
Doors, boxes and drawer fronts are made in our own shop, so the run fits the wall you have. Soft-close hardware, plywood boxes and a finish you pick from samples in your own light.
Countertops
Quartz, granite, marble and quartzite, templated digitally after the boxes are set and installed with tight seams. Undermount sinks are cut and polished in the shop, so your floor stays clean.
Plumbing and electrical
Licensed plumbers and electricians on our own crew. New circuits, under-cabinet lighting, disposal, dishwasher and ice line all run and inspected before anything closes up.
Tile, paint and finish
Backsplash, flooring, trim and paint, then hardware, appliances and a final clean. We walk the room with you and write the punch list together.

Palm Beach County does, and we pull it. Addresses in The Acreage are unincorporated, so the submittal, the plan review and the inspections all run through the county building division. It is a route we use constantly.
Our well water leaves marks on everything. Does that affect the kitchen?
It affects fixtures, the dishwasher and the finish on your faucet. On The Acreage jobs we look at the existing treatment while the plumbing is open and size filtration properly, because putting a new kitchen on untreated hard water is a short-term result.
Can the kitchen take over part of the screened porch?
Frequently yes, and it is one of the best moves available. Enclosing porch space in The Acreage needs engineering, a county permit and attention to the roof tie-in, and it buys the floor area an island needs.
We want a really large island. Any limits?

Is access a problem for deliveries on these lots?
Rarely, and it is one of the pleasures of working out here. Driveways in The Acreage are long and there is room to stage cabinetry and slabs on site, which means fewer part loads and a tighter schedule.
