We measure the room, draw it to scale and show you the layout before a single item is ordered. Appliance clearances, walkways and where the light lands all get settled on paper.
Demolition and prep

Our Abacoa kitchen is only fifteen years old. Is it worth redoing?
It depends what is wrong. If the boxes are sound we can reface and put the money into counters, appliances and lighting. Plenty of Jupiter builder kitchens have solid carcasses and everything else worn out.
Can the wall between the kitchen and living room go?
Almost always. In Jupiter houses of the nineties and later it is often non-structural, and where it does carry load a beam handles it. That single change does more for the house than any finish you could buy.
We are three blocks from the inlet. Does salt air change anything?
It changes the hardware. Near the Jupiter inlet we specify finishes and hinges that survive salt, and we are careful with appliance panels. It costs a little more and saves replacing things in four years.
How long is the permit process with the town?
Usually a couple of weeks for a straightforward kitchen once drawings are in. The Town of Jupiter is reasonable to deal with when the submittal is complete. We prepare it, submit it and book the inspections.
